Hope you understood the cons. Basically, it does boil water quickly. But you need to be real careful the lid is closed -- tight. If not, the auto-stop doesn't work. Thing is, that lid doesn't always stay tight.
Then it's clumsy to get off the base and usually this takes two hands, one to hold down the base. I'm an old guy and it just got too problemsome.
Solution? I gave it to the young couple next door and replaced it with with a Hamilton Beach stainless steel model that solved those problems. The new one also has non-exposed elements which I like better.
Huh? I just read where this was supposed to have concealed heating elements. Is this wrong or did they change the model?

Never have to wait for after meal tea or coffee. It's so convenient and fast and this pot doesn't need to be watched.
