Tervis Tumbler:

The world’s first insulated tumbler was created in 1946 by Detroit engineering duo Frank Cotter & G. Howlett Davis. Using the insulating properties of air, the two engineers created a permanently sealed, double-walled tumbler that kept cold drinks colder & hot drinks hotter longer than traditional drinkware. With a simple combination of the last three letters of Cotter & Davis’ names, Tervis Tumbler was born
The original Tervis tumbler was available in one size that was both tall and cylindrical. Then, in the early 1950's, the tumbler’s shape was redesigned and additional sizes were introduced. By constantly refining & improving on the original idea over the last half-century, the quality and durability of Tervis products continues to remain a cut above other insulated drinkware. Today, Tervis offers six sizes of tumblers, along with an ice bucket. This growing line is also met with a sizable & expanding selection of original designs, licensed artwork, wraps, color, etc. This truly makes Tervis tumblers perfect for anyone and everyone!
